Holistic Nutrition is a natural approach to health that uses evidence-based techniques for diet, lifestyle and detoxification. Instead of focusing on just one aspect of the person, or taking a one size fits all methodology, holistic nutrition evaluates the complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle habits and current diet habits of an individual to determine the root cause of his or her health issues.  Here are some of the issues holistic nutritionists help with:

Our body systems are designed to function efficiently thanks to the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. We were designed to be healthy, and we have an innate ability to heal ourselves. We remain healthy as long as our bodily processes go on unhindered, and as long as our various systems can efficiently use the raw materials that are needed to nurture, repair and fuel our body. It is evident that the quality of the food eaten affects the degree of well-being experienced. Artificially created food cannot contribute the ingredients necessary to good health. Only natural, wholesome food can produce the degree of health that brings peace of mind and enjoyment of life. In today’s society, this requires constant vigilance as to what we choose to eat. Awareness and understanding of the simplicity of our nutritional needs will inevitably lead to good health. It is also very clear that everyone’s body is biochemically unique, with a different set of life circumstances. Every person must be considered as a whole. Dietary needs may change due to age, weight, activity level, health status, stress, among other factors. My goal is to empower my clients to improve their overall health with the use of nutrient dense foods, natural supplementation and lifestyle recommendations.

As you ultimately hold the key to your well-being, your state of health and the symptoms you exhibit are used to give evidence as to your nutritional balance. First, a lifestyle assessment is completed where we will discuss your main health concerns and relevant lifestyle information. Second, you will be asked to rate a list of symptoms your body exhibits on a daily basis to provide information about the current state of your organ systems and underlying issues. I do not diagnose but can determine the areas of greatest imbalance, and more precisely define the underlying issues in a particular system. A plan of action is then created and implemented to address the concerns one by one. Individualised eating plans may be required to address your specific needs and goals.

We will start with a free 20-minute initial consultation to discuss your health goals. From there, we can choose together a program that best suits your health goals. One On One Guidance And Comprehensive Coaching

If you are looking to address a reoccurring or underlying health condition, lose weight, feel stronger & healthier, have more energy, improve digestion I am here to help.I will work closely with you to help you adapt more nutritious foods and healthier lifestyle habits. Starting with an initial health assessment, that includes an overview of your lifestyle and dietary habits. I will create a plan designed specifically for you. With a focus on balance, plant-based whole foods, and realistic and practical recommendations, your personalized plan will accommodate your likes, dislikes and health goals, while complimenting any existing medical conditions or other therapeutic treatments. In follow-up consultations, we will review and fine-tune your plan to suit your changing dietary and lifestyle needs.

One Hour Nutritional Consultation

This one hour service will give you a taste for better nutrition! We will review a five-day food log, and work together to create a balanced eating plan that will provide you with the first steps toward optimal health. During the first visit, be prepared to discuss your health goals and concerns. We will do a comprehensive review of symptoms, health history, lifestyle habits, food intake log. I will take a complete health history, discuss your dietary and lifestyle habits, and ask relevant questions about your medical history. This visit will provide me with the necessary information to provide recommendations that are unique to your personal needs. Your take homes from this session will be a protocol specified to your nutritional needs including a one day sample meal plan. In the instance that they are necessary, I may also recommend high-quality, professional supplement.

Follow Up Visits

During follow-up visits, I will continue to assess your nutritional needs, evaluate your progress, and provide additional recommendations as needed.

Meal Planning

If you are looking to take your nutrition to the next level, a personalized 7 or 14 day meal plan can help you get there! Complete with recipes and shopping list. This starts with a 60 minutes Personalized Menu Planning Session where we will go over your eating habits and health goals to create a week’s worth of food solutions just for you. Receive your complete 7-day menu with full recipes for main dishes and a helpful grocery list within 5 business days of your session. A food log will be required for this session.

Monthly Workshops

Those will take place every month for 2 hours in the evening. Topics will vary per month.
